Emily Stevens

Social Media and Paid Advertising Manager

Emily’s Why: To live my truth so that I can guide others on their journey to finding their own truth.

Hey there, I’m Emily! I’m a millennial, Austin-transplant, foodie, dog mom, libra, and a full-blown achiever (No really, it’s my top strength. If there’s a task, I’m going to check it off).

I’ve always been a straight shooter, which I’ll admit has gotten me in trouble at times, but I genuinely believe it’s because I want everyone always to feel they can be their true, authentic selves without fear of judgment. At Seventh Scout, this translates to my love for helping brands find their authentic brand image and voice and then amplifying it across their various social channels and paid advertising efforts.

Managing all our clients’ social media and paid digital advertising means everything from content creation, optimizing social channels, scheduling content, and community engagement for social media. I also manage all search and social paid campaigns for paid digital advertising, including creating the campaigns, optimizing them, and reporting directly to our clients.

Before my time with Seventh Scout, I worked with various agencies and businesses to improve their social media presence and build their online community. If you consider that social media was created and took off all within my life so far, you could say I’ve been an expert for over a decade! I’m originally from Washington State, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in International Business and my MBA with a certificate in Marketing from Washington State University. I’m a third-generation Cougar, so crimson and gray runs deep within me. Go Cougs!

When I’m not slaving away to the digital media gods, I love to spend my time hanging out with my friends, family, & goofy golden retriever, travel, try out new restaurants, golf, read, or binge-watch reality tv. Even better if I can do any of those activities simultaneously! In my free time, I also serve on the advisory board for my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, advising the VP Risk Management position.
