Hey there, I’m Emily! At Seventh Scout, I lead social media, paid digital advertising, and reporting, which means I’m often living in the space where content, data, and real human behavior all intersect. From creating social media content to engaging with our brand’s audiences and analyzing performance, my role is equal parts strategy and execution, and I like it that way!
I really believe good marketing comes from authenticity. People do business with people, and at the end of the day, we all just want to feel connected. When I’m building social strategies for clients, that’s always the lens I’m using. It’s not just about posting content; it’s about creating something people actually want to engage with (and then actually engaging with those people as well!). I love helping brands find their voice and bring it to life in a way that feels real and consistent.
I attended Washington State University, where I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration… Go Cougs! After several years in Austin, we found our way back to our college town of Pullman, Washington. These days, you’ll find me leaning into everything that makes this place special: slow small-town pace, Cougar sports, and the kind of relationships that come from being part of a close-knit community.
Outside of Seventh Scout, I serve as Chapter Advisor for my sorority on campus, Alpha Chi Omega, and teach marketing courses at Washington State University. And when I finally get a bit of free time, you’ll most likely find me with my husband and our two golden retrievers, out enjoying the PNW, trying out new restaurants, golfing, reading, or binge-watching reality TV.
