As the world of digital marketing continued to shift, stretch, and surprise us this year, one thing stayed constant: the power of real stories told with purpose.
At Seventh Scout, 2025 became a year defined by momentum. Not the fast kind that burns out, but the intentional momentum that comes from clarity, collaboration, and doing work that feels like us.
Team Moments
Seventh Scout Turns 10
This year marked a significant milestone as Seventh Scout officially turned ten! A decade of storytelling, design, strategy, and showing up for clients and community with intention. Turning ten gave us space to reflect on how far we’ve come, how much we’ve grown, and how committed we remain to doing work rooted in purpose. This milestone wasn’t just a marker of time; it was a reminder of the relationships, the creativity, and the values that built our foundation and remain with us today.
Quarterly In-Person Meet-Up in Austin
Our first quarterly meet-up brought the scouts together for one last time in Austin, focusing on strategy, creativity, and connection — with a side of the now-legendary fish and chips. These gatherings fuel us. They allow us to break out of daily routines, reconnect in person, and find new energy for the work ahead. It’s where ideas get sharper, laughter gets louder, and collaboration becomes instinctive.
This trip included a spirited evening at GameOn! ATX, putting our teamwork to the test with mini-challenges, puzzles, and friendly banter. The not-so-subtle lesson of the day? The quickest path to good work is joy, trust, and the ability not to take yourself too seriously.
Team Trip to Pullman, WA
Some of our favorite moments this year came from taking the Scouts on the road. Our trip to Pullman let us capture the magic of South Fork Public House — from kitchen creativity to Cougar Gold cheese to the unmistakable WSU spirit. And for a few of us, it doubled as a sentimental homecoming. Trips like this deepen our relationships, sharpen our creative instincts, and remind us why on-the-ground storytelling matters.
Team Tattoos
In a very literal show of loyalty, several Scouts added new ink to commemorate what this team means. Matching tattoos may not be an official company policy, but they certainly say something about the culture we’ve built — one that says “we’re in this together.”
Team Transitions: One Scout Leaves, Another Joins
This year brought transitions — as all years do. We said goodbye to a Scout whose next chapter was calling, and we welcomed a new one with open arms. Lilly, whom we first met at South Fork Public House, officially joined us as Digital Marketing Coordinator after a standout internship.
Team Moves & Remote Rhythm
2025 was the year we stretched across the map. Emily moved back to Washington State, Lynn relocated to Houston full-time, and Eve put down roots a little further north in Cedar Park. While there were cross-country moves and scattered workflows, what held us together was a shared commitment to the people behind the work, not just the work itself. That sense of home, trust, and shared values carried us through.
Restorative Week
August offered a pause — our annual Restorative Week, where everyone unplugged, reset, and refilled their creative tanks. With travel, family time, and plenty of sunshine, the break reminded us that rest isn’t an interruption to productivity — it’s part of it.
Team Trip to MSPHI in Mississippi
Lynn and Christine set out for Mississippi for a trip to meet with the Mississippi Public Health Institute team! From a warm welcome to seeing their community work firsthand, it underscored why mission-driven design and communication matter so deeply. It also gave Christine a hometown moment, allowing her to visit the place where she grew up and reconnect her work with her roots.
Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce Business of Pride Gala
Eve and Lynn closed out the year celebrating with Austin’s LGBTQ+ business community at the annual Austin LGBT Chamber Gala. The night was made even more meaningful as Eve (who serves on the Austin LGBT Chamber board!) was honored as a nominee for the Pride in Leadership Award, alongside other outstanding and deeply involved members of the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce. It was an evening of connection, advocacy, and celebration — a reminder of how important it is to show up for the people and communities who shape us.
Client Work
2025 proved that our most meaningful work happens when strategy, design, and purpose converge. Take a peek at some of the highlights:
A Revamped Website for a Longtime Partner
We launched a refreshed website for one of our clients, HR Green. This wasn’t just a facelift; we rebuilt the back-end architecture, improved performance, enhanced the user experience, and provided them with a site that’s secure, fast, and ready for growth. Including:
- A brand-new Insights hub
- Clearer Services & Locations structure
- Improved navigation
- Stronger performance and accessibility
- And yes — a hidden Easter egg for anyone who knows the Konami Code. We’re serious about the work we do, but there’s always an opportunity for a little fun along the way!
Branding, Visual Identity, and Print Campaigns
This year, we tackled branding projects, designing everything from identity concepts to real-world collateral and campaign materials. We saw firsthand how thoughtful design embeds value; clients enjoyed work that’s not only visually compelling but structurally sound in brand strategy.
Mississippi Behavioral Health Learning Network Catalog Redesign
Our work with MSPHI expanded through a major redesign of the Mississippi Behavioral Health Learning Network catalog. This project required presenting deeply important public health training information in a way that was clear, accessible, and welcoming — a challenge we embraced wholeheartedly.

Girls’ School of Austin Firebird Fund Lawn Signs
We helped The Girls School of Austin design and distribute Firebird Fund lawn signs to strengthen visibility and support within their school community. These bright, bold signs became little beacons of school pride across Austin.

ECI Branded T-Shirts Highlighting Major Projects
For Engen Contracting Inc., we created branded T-shirts featuring a collage of their most iconic projects — a wearable portfolio of the work they’ve built in the Austin area. It was a celebration of craftsmanship, community, and their signature approach to construction.

Real-World Storytelling & Community Impact
One standout was working with clients in public health, non-profits, contracting/construction, and education — projects where our work helps tell stories that matter. We helped articulate mission-driven messaging, human-centered design, and creative content that support meaningful outcomes.
Authentic, Engaged Online Communities.
We continued our efforts of building strong, engaged online communities by leading with authenticity and tailored brand voices.
NIL Partnership — South Fork Public House x WSU Women’s Soccer
A first for the Scouts: partnering with South Fork Public House on their inaugural Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) sponsorship with Washington State Women’s Soccer player Maggie Mace. It blended local brand storytelling with the excitement of supporting student-athletes, and it felt like the perfect fit for not only our client, but our work as well. Because at the end of the day, we strive to be intentional and build community.

Flexible, Cross-Channel Work
From social media management and content creation to web design, branding, and print, we exercised the impact a holistic marketing strategy can make.
What stands out most is how many clients this year prioritized purpose above flash. They asked for designs that speak to community, copy that connects with real people, and content that supports tangible action.
