Seven Questions with Seventh Scout: Jenni Forsmann

Hey y’all! I’m Jenni! I am so excited to be in Austin locally, in addition to working with groups nationwide. As the content manager for Seventh Scout, I tell brand stories through video, photo, and written content for our clients. Specifically, I care about strengthening a story’s impact. I want to make sure that our audience finds real value and connection in the content they consume. Storytelling is one of the most powerful means to influence, teach, and inspire. We are lucky in the 21st century to have multiple means to share stories. I want to leverage multimedia to engage and connect businesses to the right consumers. 

My passion for storytelling evolved from a love of photography that led me to a former career in journalism. I was a morning news producer and reporter at KHQ-TV in Spokane, Washington. My goal was to provide the most accurate and timely information in an impactful and relatable way while driving the viewership of my show both over-the-air and digitally. During my time with KHQ, my team and I were honored to receive two Regional Murrow Awards.

For my current role with Seventh Scout, It’s important that my content creation process incorporates journalistic values and methods of storytelling with marketing tactics. Our client’s missions are as important, as their audience’s interests. I am excited to continue to bring this passion to our team.
