Howdy, I’m Eve! I lead branding and design at Seventh Scout. As you might have guessed, that means I work on all things visual for our clients. I’m passionate about creating purposeful work that conveys the authentic essence of our clients’ brands and gets their audiences to take action.

I’ve always been a visual thinker and communicator, and as a kid, I was constantly doodling and drawing in my notebooks and sketchbooks. I grew up in a former coal-mining company town in Western Pennsylvania, and I received a BFA in Communication Design with a minor in Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.

My design career began working in-house at a software company during the dot-com days, and from there I went on to co-own a boutique graphic design firm. Later, years of freelancing brought me into contact with many marketing agencies, and when I met the folks at Seventh Scout, I knew they were a team I wanted to be part of. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with big brands, scrappy start-ups, and everything in between. At the end of the day, it’s all about communication, and I enjoy the challenge of using visual design to simplify complex ideas.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, biking, and exploring the amazing trails and natural areas in and around Austin. I also love going on road trips and have been known to test my traveling companions’ patience with my insistence on stopping to take pictures of old signs, interesting cars, and abandoned buildings. I’m also a dog mom and parent to two amazing young women. I currently serve on the board of directors of the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
