Digital Marketing During Coronavirus

Digital Marketing during Coronavirus and beyond. ur Seventh Scout team discusses four quick tips over a live webinar with Austin business leaders.

According to Forbes.com, “In the coming months, businesses are going to become more reliant than ever on their digital strategy. Without wanting to sound too alarmist, in many cases it will be the deciding factor in whether they make it through the tough times ahead.”

At Seventh Scout, we have been busy helping our clients adjust and adapt to this new way of conducting business in the age of coronavirus and COVID-19. Adjustments that will be with us for the months to come. Some adaptations may become a permanent way of life and business.

In the following webinar recorded on April 1, 2020, Rhodes, Lynn, and Eve led a lively, interactive discussion with leaders and members of Austin’s LGBT Chamber to discuss four tips to incorporate today to become better prepared for the upcoming shifts in our businesses due to the impacts of the global coronavirus pandemic.

The four topics the group discussed were:

  1. Know your audience. Build personas.
  2. Online must match or better your offline.
  3. Social channels are now your front door and your back door.
  4. It’s a marathon and not a sprint.

Below is a recording of this virtual “lunch and learn” which is free and available for all to learn. We discuss many real life scenarios across numerous industries and disciplines including business to business, healthcare, non-profits, writing, marketing, tech firms, media outlets, foundations, a celebrity fitness trainer, and more.

(And some inside intel, be sure to watch to the end where all of the participants grab their pets and kids to share some screen time. Unlike the NYTimes Tech folks, in this time of “physical distancing”, seeing your kids and pets is the brightest part of our meetings and days!)
